Pavel Gergel is the managing partner of Dravot Carnehan CZ. He has worked corporate finance advisory services, and specifically M&A, since 1991. He advised on a large number of successfully concluded transactions in Czechia and Slovakia in various industries, e .g. wholesale, dairy and malt industries, insulation materials, machinery and IT.
Pavel Gergel is particularly specialised in unblocking and negotiating transactions with significant communication difficulties. He also acts as a coach and mentor for entrepreneurs and senior managers.
In early 1990’s he was a part of Crimson Capital, an investment banking company advising the Czech ministry of privatisation within the USAID support project. Prior to forming Dravot Carnehan CZ he headed for ten years the corporate finance team of the BNP Paribas bank for Czechia and Slovakia.
He is a graduate of ÈVUT, Czech Technical University (Ing.) and obtained the MBA degree with distinction from PIBS/Manchester Metropolitan University.
He speaks Czech, English and French.
